- Business items:
- Review of Communications Study - Leonard Koehnen. Leonard noted that as part of his contract he still needs to provide Sauk County with estimations of costs but that he must first have some guidance as to what it is the County wishes to do. Discussion followed on various types of technology and how to prioritize what needs to be accomplished. Leonard noted that to correct the system as a whole will be a 3-5 year project. Leonard did note that you can put in some new equipment on a temporary basis until tower sites are cleaned up/built. The only loss is the labor cost to put in the temporary setup. After much discussion, moved by Hartje, second by Wenzel that Leonard along with Tim Stieve and Phil Raab layout a plan to be reviewed at the next meeting to fix the paging system as soon as possible as well as identify a schedule for the remainder of the system. Carried.
- Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday September 3rd, 2003 at 8:15 a.m. at the Law Enforcement Community Room
