Management Information Systems Committee

The MIS Committee was called to order at 5:00pm, Monday, November 3, 2003.

Members present were: Netzinger, Stoeckmann and White. Meeting called to order by Stoeckmann. Motion to adopt agenda by Netzinger, seconded by White. Agreed on by committee.
Motion carried.

Motion to approve last month's committee minutes by Stoeckmann, seconded by White. Agreed on by committee.
Motion carried

Communications - None.

MIS Technology Plan - Pate explained the goals and measurements. Discussion followed.

2004 Budget Changes - Pate discussed how budget changes will affect MIS Dept. Discussion followed.

MIS Dept. Update -

• MUNIS chargeback issue - changed the way chargebacks can be done - software does not allow a negative credit to an account
• Melyx preparations - server installed, software installed on workstations
• Novell Netware client upgrades - issues with client
• TSM install complete - allows for backups to be centralized
• Jail move complete
• Web pg. links for towns, cities - Amen spoke at Treasurers meeting to generate interest
• Help desk call volume down

Motion to approve vouchers by White, seconded by Netzinger. Agreed on by committee.
