• MEETINGS:

  Special meeting of the Finance Committee at 5:30 p.m. in the Gallery of the County Board Room (Room 326A) to

  1. approve vouchers;
  2. Consideration of financing plans and resolutions related to issuance of refunding bonds and additional debt.
  3. Consider a resolution Authorizing Retaining Robert W. Baird & Company as Financial Advisors, and Quarles and Brady, LLP as Bond Counsel in the Issuance of Approximately $6,825,000 of General Obligation Refunding Bonds, and Approximately $3,160,000 of General Obligation Promissory Notes.*
     

  Special meeting of the Property & Insurance Committee at 5:15 p. m. in the Gallery of the County Board Room (Room 326A) to discuss the floor tile in the entry of the Law Enforcement Center.

  Special meeting of the Communications Infrastructure Committee at 5:30 p. m. in the ETN Room to discuss a resolution: Authorization to Contract with Ken Bolt for Fencing for Five (5) Tower Sites.

• Adoption of Rules of the Board - Immediate Past Chairman Paul Endres will conduct meeting until a Chairperson is elected pursuant to Rule I B of the Rules of the Board, Wisconsin Statutes §59.12 and §19.88. See page #'s 5(a) - 5(o).
• Adoption of agenda.
• Approval of minutes of previous meeting.

• EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE:

  Resolution No. 47-04 Naming the Official Sauk County Newspaper (See page #6).

  Election of Chairperson

  • Nomination of Candidates (Paper ballots will be distributed to all members. The first ballot cast will serve to nominate Supervisors for the position of Chairperson.)
  • Election of Chairperson (Secret ballots will continue until one candidate receives a majority of the votes cast.)
  • Newly elected chair takes up the gavel and from this point forth conducts the meeting and assumes the duties of chairperson as set forth in the Rules of the Board, Chapter 35 of the Sauk County Code of Ordinances, and Chapter 59 of Wisconsin Statutes.

  Election of Vice-Chairperson

  (The same nomination and election procedure will be used to elect the Vice-Chairperson)

  Election of Three (3) At-Large Members of the Executive and Legislative Committee

  (The same nomination and election procedure will be used to elect each of the three at-large members except that in this, and all future paper ballots, Supervisors must indicate the District which they represent on the reverse side of the ballot.)
