CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by T. Meister at 8:59 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
AGENDA: Motion by P. Tollaksen, second by C. Montgomery, to adopt the agenda.
Motion carried.
MINUTES: Motion by S. Alexander, second by P. Tollaksen, to approve the July - 2004, minutes of the Personnel Committee as mailed.
Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS: None.
M. Koehler distributed to the Committee a revised employee evaluation form intended specifically for the evaluation of the position of the Administrative Coordinator. Previously, members of the Executive and Legislative Committee expressed a desire to have it revised to more accurately evaluate the requirements for that particular position. No action was taken by the Committee at this time.
M. Koehler presented the Personnel Budget for 2005 and asked the Committee for input. Motion by C. Mongomery, second by P. Tollaksen to approve the 2005 budget as distributed.
Motion carried.
K. Pope presented the information to the Committee regarding disparities within the wage matrix as it pertains to the Registered Nurses employed by Sauk County at the Health Care Center. Ms. Pope provided information regarding the overall labor market, comparables of other Counties as well as public and private sector nursing homes. Motion by P. Tollaksen, second by S. Alexander to authorize a market adjustment for the Registered Nurses employed at the Sauk County Health Care Center. The market adjustment will be effective August 30, 2004.

Motion by P. Tollaksen, second by T. Meister to approve payment of the monthly vouchers in the amount of $ 2,219.00
Motion carried.
Motion by T. Bychinski, second by P. Tollaksen to adjourn with the next regular meeting to be held Friday, September 10, 2004, at 8:30 a.m.
