1. Meeting called to Order by Vice Chairman Meister. Present: Hartje, Sinklair, Meister, Stevens, and Sprecher.

2. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sinklair.

3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Stevens.

5. Communications.
Parks - Matt Stieve- concerned about not being able to enforce campground. Ineffective to call Sheriff for every dispute. Would like authority to issue citations. Advised to talk to Sheriff or Corp. Counsel.

6. Review and Approve Vendor Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Sinklair to approve June 2004 bills in the amount of $ 114,461.05 .

7. Review and Approve Employee Requests For Vacation Carryovers.

Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to approve vacation carryovers.

9. Review and Approve Resolution Authorizing Loan to Tri-County Airport for Fuel System Upgrade.
Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Stevens to Approve Resolution Authorizing Loan to Tri-County Airport for Fuel System Upgrade.

10. Open Bids for Underbody Scrapers, Snow Wing, and V-Box Spreaders at 10:45 a.m.
4 Bids were received for two (2) Underbody Scrapers. Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Meister, to award Monroe Truck Equipment the bid for one (1) Underbody Scraper in the amount of $ 5,496.00 and to award Schmidt Engineering & Equipment Co. the bid for one (1) Underbody Scraper in the amount of $ 4,190.00 .
Motion carried.
4 Bids were received for one (1) Snow Wing. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sinklair to award Schmidt Engineering & Equipment Co. the bid for the one (1) Snow Wing in the amount of $ 3,130.00 .

2 Bids were received for three (3) 15' V-Box Spreaders. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister to award Monroe Truck Equipment the bid for the three (3) 15' V-Box Spreaders in the amount of $ 28,307.00 .
Motion carried.
11. Open Bids for CTH C Paving Project at 11:00 a.m.
2 Bids were received for the CTH C Paving Project. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sprecher to award DL Gasser Construction the bid for the CTH C Paving Project in the amount of $ 213,808.00 .
Motion carried.
12. Discuss Road Construction Projects for 2004. Discussion followed.
CTH A is tentatively scheduled to be sealcoated the first part of August along with CTH's O & E.
Kraemer has finished pulverizing CTH B, Mathy will have the binder mat completed by July 17th.
13. Discuss 2005 Department Budget. Discussion followed.
