2. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sprecher.
   Motion carried.
3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sinklair.
   Motion carried.

   None.
6. Review and Approve Vendor Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Sinklair seconded by Stevens to approve September 2004 bills in the amount of $747,991.25.
   Motion carried.
7. Review and Approve Employee Requests For Vacation Carryovers.
   Steve Montgomery - 46 hrs.
   Kenneth Radke - 2 hrs.
   Dennis Rehr - 56 hrs.
   Jim Zufall - 40 hrs.
   Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Stevens to approve vacation carryovers.
   Motion carried.
8. Airport Report.
   No action.
9. Review and Approve Resolution Commending Robert Rosenbaum for 27 years of Service to Sauk County.
   Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Stevens to approve Resolution Commending Robert Rosenbaum for 27 years of Service to Sauk County.
   Motion carried.
10. Discuss Fall County Road System Inspection Tour. Discussion followed. County Road Inspection Tour scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Longley's Restaurant at 7:30a.m.
11. Review and approve Resolution for $30,000.00 Limit on Equipment Purchases. Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Stevens to approve Resolution for $30,000.00 Limit on Equipment Purchases.
    Motion carried.
12. Discuss Request from City of Baraboo for Reduction of Speed Limit on CTH T. Discussion followed. Anticipated increase in traffic volumes on CTH T resulting from property located south of Man Mound Road and east of CTH T being annexed into the City of Baraboo.
    Motion by Hartje, seconded by Sprecher to approve Ordinance reducing speed limit to 45 mph on CTH T, from 500'north of City View Road, south to 12th Street and at that point, reduce the speed limit to 35 mph south to the intersection of STH 33 located in the Township of Baraboo, Greenfield, and the City of Baraboo.
    Motion carried.
13. Discuss Request from City of Reedsburg for Reduction of Speed Limit on CTH V. Discussion followed.
    Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Sprecher to approve Ordinance reducing speed limit to 45 mph on CTH V, from Barbara Ann Drive, south to the Reedsburg City Limits located in the City of Reedsburg and the Township of Reedsburg.
    Motion carried.
14. Discuss Consultant Selection Process for Design of CTH V Federal Aid Project. Discussion followed. Selection process will take place at November Committee meeting. No action.
    Motion carried.
15. Discuss Sale of Used V-Box Sander to Town of Freedom. Discussion followed. The Highway Department is no longer in need of one 10 year old V-Box Spreader.

    Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Sprecher to approve the sale of the used V-Box Sander to the Town of Freedom for the amount of $ 1,000.00 . Motion carried.

16. Discuss Road Construction Projects for 2004. Discussion followed. STH 33 project north of La Valle to open to traffic October 15th. CTH PF - Highway will continue to work on project until weather becomes an issue. CTH C - Road is being shouldered October 13-14th. USH 12 - Will start shoulder widening project on October 18th. No action.

17. 17. Discuss Purchase of Timber Bridge for Replacement on CTH S. Discussion followed.

    Highway will purchase bridge materials in 2004 and install in 2005.

    No action.

    Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sinklair to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department office.

1. Approve Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Stevens, seconded to Sinklair to approve September 2004 bills in the amount of $ 32, 866.75. Motion carried.
2. Discuss Shelter Roof. Discussion followed. No bids accepted yet. Will look at steel roof.

   No action.

3. 3. Discuss Entrance Fee Program. Discussion followed. Next month meet with Town of La Valle. Last year Town's portion was $ 2,500.00

   No action.
