- Adopt Agenda. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister.

- Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sprecher.

A letter was received from the Baraboo High School thanking the Department for the use of the facility for building a homecoming float.
Muchow stated that Joe Easeman contacted him requesting that the speed limit on a portion of CTH H be reduced to 35 mph and that 10 ft of guardrail be removed.

- Review and Approve Vendor Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sprecher to approve October 2004 bills in the amount of $ 463,717.40 .

- Review and Approve Employee Requests For Vacation Carryovers.
Manuel Canales - 56 hours Thomas Gowey - 64 hours
Lawrence Horkan - 71 hours Gary Kelley - 28 hours
Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Meister to approve vacation carryovers.

- Airport Report. Discussion followed.
Stevens reported: The restaurant at the Tri-County airport is now leasing the building for $100.00/month.
The insurance policy covering the airplane hangers will be redone to cover the County's liability.
The paperwork for the fuel system upgrade has been filed but the actual upgrade probably will not happen for another year.

- Review and Approve Purchase of Timber Bridge from Wheeler Lumber Co.
Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to approve purchase of a timber bridge from Wheeler Lumber Co. in the amount of $ 40,047.25 .

- Review and Approve Governmental Buy Back Program on Track Skid Loader.
Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sprecher to approve trade of Unit#10 for one new Track Skid Loader from Mid-State Equipment for a net price after trade of $ 3,000.00 .

- Discuss Road Construction Projects for 2004. Discussion followed.
CTH PF - Department will continue to work on the project through the winter - weather permitting. Highway will continue assisting landfill.
- Discuss Equipment Purchases for 2005. Discussion followed.
(1) Sign truck, (1) Stainless Steel Water Tank, (1) Power Broom, (1) Power Mulcher, (1) Tilt Bed Trailer. DOT would like to either build a new salt shed or add on to the existing shed at the Prairie Du Sac Shop.

- Discuss Bridge Replacement Project for CTH V - Baraboo River Bridge. Discussion followed. Questionnaires were sent to eleven firms. At the December meeting, the committee will choose one. No interviews will be required.

- Discuss WCHA Winter Conference. Discussion followed.
- * Discuss Northern Natural Gas Purchase Offer for Land Located at the Spring Green Highway Facility. Discussion followed. Northern Natural Gas needs to move their deodorizer plant and wants to purchase property. ½ the property needed is Highway Shop property. Committee is interested in selling property. Muchow will advise Northern Natural Gas and proceed to work out details.
- Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department office. Motion carried.

- Approve Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sprecher to approve October 2004 bills in the amount of $ 6,301.86 .

- Approve Expenditure for County Forest. Discussion followed. Transfer $ 500.00 from 2005 budget to 2004 for replanting.
Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to approve transfer of funds from 2005 to 2004 for the County Forest in the amount of $ 500.00 .

- Discuss Town of La Valle Cooperative Entrance Fee Program. Discussion followed.
Bodendein and Brey were present for Town of La Valle.
Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to approve $ 5,000.00 for Town of La Valle share of Park Entrance Fee Revenue.
Motion carried.
- Discuss Shelter Roof at White Mound Park. Discussion followed. 3 bids were received. There was also one quote for a steel roof installation in the amount of $14,258.00.
Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sprecher to award Hasheider Roofing the bid for $ 4,896.00 .

Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department Office.
