Resolution No. 2-05 Approving Purchase of Development Rights Agreement for the John Waldinger, Jr. Property Pursuant to the Sauk County Baraboo Range Protection Plan. Moved (White/Ashford). Discussion regarding increases in value of land. Dave Tremble, Land Preservation Specialist/Planner, regarding dollar amount remaining in the program. Resolution No. 8-05 Denying Petition to Rezone Certain Lands in the Town of Prairie du Sac from an Agriculture to a Single Family Residential filed upon Mark Bender, Property Owner, Dennis Bender, Agent. Moved (Lehman/Ashford). Supervisor Gaalswyk spoke with background on reason for Committee recommendation for denial of this petition. SAUK COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD:
Resolution No. 10-05 Requesting that Iowa and Richland counties Pay Their Fair Share for Cross Border Lending of Library Material to the Residents of Iowa and Richland Counties. Moved (Alexander/Wheeler). Discussion in support of, and in opposition to resolution. Gene Wiegand, Administrative Coordinator: request that if this resolution is defeated, the Library Board be asked to redraft as a request to enter into the appropriate agreements vs. as a bill for services.

Moved (Endres/Borleske) to send resolution back to the Sauk County Library Board. Discussion in support and opposition to user fees.

Chair Wenzel requested an alternative date for the February County Board meeting, as the Spring Primary Election falls on February 15, 2005.
