Motion, (Kriegl/Wheeler), to amend the motion to postpone Ordinance No. 155-05 to the January 17, 2006 Sauk County Board of Supervisors meeting my adding: “To direct the Executive and Legislative Committee to revise Sauk County ordinance 35.05 so that hiring and firing of department heads that are not elected, or whose employment status is not otherwise dictated by State statute, will be made by the County Board upon a joint recommendation of the Administrative Coordinator and the oversight committee, (possibly also involve a second committee as appropriate). Further, that if there is an urgency to advertise and recruit for the position of Administrative Coordinator, that it be advertised as an Administrative Coordinator with no more authority than is specified in State statutes.”
