Citizen COA Committee Member appointment: MaryPat Heyn and Darlene Hill have been appointed to the COA committee to May 2008.
Senior Farmer's Market Program: The program will be handled by the UW Extension office and the Sauk County Commission On Aging and as soon as the vouchers arrive time and dates to apply will be advertised.
Medicare Part D update: Trish Vandre stated there will be additional training sessions and the dates and times will be announced in various areas of the county. She will be interviewing candidates for the Medicare Part D 18 month part-time project specialist position. There is a benefit specialist conference at the end of the month. The Social Security Office Regional Manager will attend all the meetings and give input on how to fill out the 8 page application.
Salvation Army Taxi fund donation received Jackie Bodette spoke at a meeting with the Salvation Army and was given a voucher in the amount of $600.00 to be used for taxi tickets for low income seniors. The Baraboo Taxi Company, Village of Prairie Du Sac Cab Company, and D Cab Service in Reedsburg will each receive $200 to be used for the tickets.
Bus Purchased: Resolution No.57-05: The Sauk County Board approved the purchase of the bus. Jackie Bodette contacted Wisconsin Bus in DeForest, WI., and the bus should be ready for delivery in late August or early September of 2005.
SAMS migration update: The update had been planned for May, but due to glitches in the program, the tentative date is now June 24, 2005.

Chairperson: Scott Alexander was nominated by Judith Stoeckmann to be the chairperson. Judy made a motion nominations be closed. Joan Wheeler seconded the motion.
Vice Chairperson: Joan Wheeler was nominated by Rose White to be the vice chairperson.. Rose White made a motion nominations be closed. Darlene Hill seconded the motion.
Secretary: Rose White was nominated by Joan Wheeler to be the secretary. LaVon Puttkamer made a motion nominations be closed. Judy Stoeckmann seconded the motion.
AAA Board: LaVon Puttkamer was nominated by Buddy Bethke to be on the Board of Directors of AAA. Judith Stoeckmann made a motion nominations be closed. Joan Wheeler seconded the motion.
AAA Advisory Board: Buddy Bethke was nominated by LaVon Puttkamer to be on the AAA Advisory Board. Judy Stoeckmann made a motion nominations be closed. Joan Wheeler seconded the motion. MaryPat Heyn will be asked to be backup as Buddy's term on the COA committee will be over in 2006. Buddy was to call MaryPat,
Department Transition Plan: Trish Vandre has been hired as the new director. However, she will be working with clients she is currently seeing and any new clients will be placed on a contact list. Any appeals, denials, emergency situations will be routed to Deb Harvey.
A full time position has been requested for the benefit specialist position and a full time administrative assistant IV position has been requested due to retirement.
2006 Budget Process: Trish Vandre went over the beginning of the budget process with the COA committee. The Mission/Vision statements were approved with the adjustments noted.
