  1. Meeting called to order by Chair Bychinski at 7:30 a.m.. Certification of compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
  2. Adopt agenda: Motion by Hartje, second by Stevens to adopt agenda. Carried.
  3. Adopt minutes: Motion by Montgomery, second by Stevens to approve minutes of last meeting. Carried.
  4. Communications: None.
  5. Business Items:

Update on Fiber Optics : Written report from Ellis McFadzen was passed out and reviewed as to the status of the various legs of the project. Copy attached to original minutes.

Merrimac : Temporary paging solution in place and operational. In a waiting mode on the moratorium and the property.

Courthouse : Waiting to hear back from Engineers at A&O.

Hemlock : Still waiting for Lavalle Telephone to make final connections. Generator up and running. Leasing LP tank from Hohl LP Supply.

Lake Delton : Foundation for tower is in. Tower Erection and Communications Shelter tentatively scheduled for the week of January 17th.

Hillpoint : Waiting to hear back from private land owner on a couple possible sites. Todd noted there is nothing in the present Lease with the DNR regarding White Mound Park that would allow us to place a tower on the Park property and that it would have to be done via a separate agreement.

Sauk City : Foundation is in, expect that this site will be erected around the end of the month looking for it to be operational around Mid-February. Question was asked about the Co-op Oil Company tower site which is close by, it was approved by the Board of Adjustments.

Spring Green: Nothing further since the county board resolution.

Next regular meeting to be February 2nd, @ 7:30 am at the EMBS Meeting Room, Room 128, at the Sauk

County Courthouse.
