Motion was made by Krueger and seconded by Lombard to approve the 2006 Solid Waste Department budget request. More discussion. Motion by Krueger and seconded by Lombard to amend the motion to pursue budgetary amendments which would preserve the solid waste manager position, possibly in combination with other yet to be assigned duties, for part-time or full-time employment. Amended motion carried unanimously. The solid waste manager was directed to pursue the discussed budgetary amendments in the subsequent budget review process.
