  2. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister.

  3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sinklair.

    Susan Tatar - Stated concerns with proposed ATV trail at County Forest.
  5. Communications.
    A letter was received by the Town of Franklin regarding the posted speed limits on CTH B on the East side of the Village of Plain.

  6. Review and Approve Vendor Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Stevens to approve June 2005 bills in the amount of $ 178,522.57 .

  7. Review and Approve Employee Requests For Vacation Carryovers.
    Victor Schneider - 8 hours
    Motion by Meister, seconded by Sinklair to approve vacation carryovers.
    Motion carried.

  10. Resolution Commending Larry Horkan For More Than 16 Years of Service.
    Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sinklair to approve Resolution Commending Larry Horkan for more than 16 years of Service.

  11. Review and Approve Ordinance Amending Sauk County Code Section 40.04 (3)(6)3 to Increase the Insurance Requirements for Hanger Leases at the Tri-County Airport. Discussion followed.

    Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Meister to approve Ordinance Amending Sauk County Code Section 40.04 (3)(6)3 to Increase the Insurance Requirements for Hanger Leases at the Tri-County Airport.

  12. Discuss Extending CTH PF Construction Project Limits. Discussion followed. Due to low bid prices, the Department would like to extend the 2005 CTH PF Project by 5 miles and delay the CTH C Project until 2006.
    Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Stevens to extend project at the bid price per unit.
    Motion carried.
  13. Discuss 2005 Road Construction Projects. Discussion followed.

    CTH W & CTH PF pulverizing should begin on August 15th.
    No Action.

  14. Discuss 2006 Department Budget. Discussion followed.
  15. Discuss New Employees Status. Discussion followed.
  16. Discuss Purchase of Used WisDOT Sign Truck. Discussion followed. Sauk County has been placed on a list of eligible counties to receive a sign truck no longer needed by WisDOT.

    Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sprecher to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department office.

  1. Approve Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sprecher to approve June 2005 bills in the amount of $ 9,308.54 . Motion carried.
  2. Discuss 2006 Budget. Discussion followed.

    Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Sprecher to raise summer help rates $0.25/hr in 2006.
    Motion carried.

  3. Discuss Mowing Man Mound. Discussion followed. Received complaint about mowing Man - says mowers are scalping structure. Koenig stated that mower is hitting mole piles; they aren't scalping.

    Adam Johnson - Eagle Scout wants to do work at park. Koenig to check with Historical Society to see what can be done.

    No Action.

  4. Discuss La Valle Area Parks. Discussion followed.

    Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sprecher to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department Office.
