The regular meeting of the Sauk County Arts, Humanities and Historic Preservation Committee was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 1:00 p.m. by Art Carlson.
Members present: Arthur Carlson, Judy Ashford, Rose White, Peter Tollaksen, Lola Huber
Members excused: Jay Salinas, Tommy Lee Bychinski
Others present: Kathy Schauf, Paul Wolter
The agenda was approved on a motion by Ashford, second by Tollaksen, and a unanimous vote of the Committee. The minutes of the prior meeting were approved on a motion by White, second by Huber, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.

Blue Lake Fine Arts for 2007.
Motion by Ashford, second by Tollaksen to approve the change
in the Humanities Presentation timeline to correlate with
Historic Preservation month.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Tollaksen, second by White to change mini grant process to incorporate
review criteria (attached)
Motion carried unanimously.
None.
The subcommittee reported on final event
preparations for display.
Mini grant process and documentation. The committee reviewed
one application for minigrants, requesting $500.00.
Motion by Tollaksen, second by White to deny the minigrant application. Concern expressed over the intent of the application as compared to the intent of the grant. Individual artists should be responsible for funding proposal development. Motion carried. It was noted that in October the committee voted to carry forward remaining 2006 funds for programmatic activities associated with the Smithsonian exhibit.
A. Carlson presented a final report.
Motion by Tollaksen, second by Ashford to approve vouchers in the amount of $1,918.59. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned on a motion by Ashford, seconded by Tollaksen, with a unanimous committee vote.
