A Certificate of Excellence for 2005 was awarded to the Sauk County Child Support Agency. Certificates of Excellence are reserved for the six child support agencies in the State that qualify in all four performance measures.

Moved (Hartje/Sinklair). Supervisor White spoke in opposition to proposed ordinance. Discussion in support of, and in opposition to proposed ordinance. Supervisor Lombard questioned if uniform language should be used regarding the wording of "Board Supervisors" and "County Board". Todd Liebman, Corporation Counsel, gave a legal opinion that although the uniform language question is a valid point, it has no legal effect. Kathryn Schauf, Interim Administrative Coordinator, clarified the position of Corporation Counsel would continue to be under the oversight of the Executive & Legislative Committee.

Hefty received a Certificate of Appreciation from Chairman Wenzel, on behalf of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors; and addressed the Board in appreciation to the Board and the Sauk County Sheriff's Department.

Todd Liebman, Corporation Counsel, stated this resolution designates the Corporation Counsel as the point of contact person, as requested by the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation; and that a resolution would have to be brought before the Board for approval if expenses are incurred.
