SPECIAL MEETING: Continuum of Care Committee Final Report and Recommendations

• Call to order: 6:00 p.m.
• Compliance with Open Meeting Law.
• Roll call: PRESENT: (27) Zowin, Meister, Hartje, Borleske, Stoeckmann, Montgomery, Bychinski, Krueger, Cassity, Volz, Lombard, Dippel, Wheeler, Fordham, Haugen, Earl, Ashford, Endres, Gaalswyk, Carlson, Wiese, Alexander, Sinklair, White, Netzinger, Sprecher and Wenzel. ABSENT: (4) Kriegl, Lehman, Tollaksen, and Stevens.
• Approve agenda: Moved (Bychinski/Dippel). Motion carried unanimously.
• Communications: Supervisor Wheeler, RE: privatizing the Sauk County Health Care Center, (handout). Supervisor Gaalswyk, RE: privatizing the Sauk County Health Care Center, (handout).
  Supervisor Kriegl, RE: further analysis of gaps; more comparison analysis; and impact on elderly care in relation to State and Federal changes, (handout).
• Report and recommendations from Ad Hoc Continuum of Care Committee:
  Supervisor Endres, and Kathryn Schauf, Interim Administrative Coordinator, presented the Continuum of Care Committee Final Report and Recommendations; and the proposed resolution Recommending The Creation Of The Continuum Of Care Planning Committee To Continue The Redesign Of Long Term Health Care To Include The Development Of a Facility In Sauk County.
• Discussion of report and recommendations from Ad Hoc Continuum of Care Committee: in support of, and in opposition to proposed resolution and recommendations; Continuum of Care appointments; supporting the majority; and cash donations.
• Adjournment: 7:28 p.m. Motion (Montgomery/Endres) to adjourn until Tuesday, February 21, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
