A special meeting of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 3:30 p.m. by Kathy Schauf.
Present: Catherine Horenberger, Marcy Huffaker, Bill Wenzel, Kathy Schauf, Todd Liebman, Kerry Beghin, Steve Pate, Tim Stieve, Bev Mielke
The agenda was approved on a motion by Pate, second by Stieve.

K. Schauf, Interim Administrative Coordinator, discussed basics of County Government, the County Directory and additional informational and developmental opportunities. She also spoke on Committee Appointments, County Board Meetings which included April's agenda, Rules of the Board, Chairperson, Vice Chair and Executive and Legislative committee.
T. Stieve, Emergency Management and Building Services Director, presented resolution for the purchase of 911 equipment.
B. Mielke, County Clerk, demonstrated voting equipment, and handed out a sample vote. Resolutions and ordinances are available in the County Clerk's office.
K. Beghin, Controller, introduced the budget process (timeline) and book. Also, went over getting paid.
T. Liebman, Corporation Counsel, explained Role of the Parliamentarian and Robert's Rules of Order. He commented on open meetings and a brief introduction to ethics.
S. Pate, Management Information Systems Director, illustrated Supervisory e-mail and the County Internet site.
Meeting adjourned on a motion by Liebman, seconded by Beghin.
