The special meeting of the Sauk County Executive and Legislative Committee was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 9:10 a.m. By Chairman Marty Krueger.

The agenda was approved on a motion by Ashford, second by Fordham, and a unanimous vote of the Committee. The minutes of the prior meeting were approved with corrections on a motion by Fordham, second by Ashford, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.

Resignation of Jeanne Leeck, Health Care Center Administrator
MVP recipient had requested a lien waiver on the 2006 crop so that application could be made for a cash flow management loan. Remaining collateral was sufficient to cover the county obligation. Motion by Fordham, second by Ashford to authorize the chair to sign the lien waver for H. Haag. Motion carried.
Committee began looking at immediate structure needs with the dissolution of the Communications Infrastructure Committee. Environmental Resources Final Plan was reviewed. Discussion over Veterans Service Officer reporting to Executive and Legislative Committee; and Parks as a part of Transportation and Parks oversight committee.
Policy documents will be compiled for communicating to Board. Affected Department Heads will be invited to attend the next Executive and Legislative Committee meeting.
Meeting adjourned on a motion by Stevens, seconded by Fordham, with a unanimous committee vote.
Next meeting date was set for 9:00 a.m. on December 04, 2006.
