Earl called the meeting to order and certified compliance with the open meeting law.
Thill added one COP High Cost Request. Dippel moved to approve agenda; seconded by Irwin, passed by unanimous vote.
Earl noted typing error on last sentence of Waiting List Subcommittee section "drive" to "driven". Vaillancourt moved to approve minutes; seconded by Walsh, passed by unanimous vote.
Thill presented COP High Cost Request for $2,877 for repairs on a 1992 vehicle. Bert moved to approve request; Dippel seconded, passed by unanimous vote.
Hebel & Thill talked about the State's Community Relocation Initiatives to place persons with a developmental/physical disability, and elderly into community settings. Currently, there are seven (7) elderly pending placement under this initiative and three (3) persons with a developmental disability have been placed out of nursing homes and into the community, and four (4) more are pending community placements.
Thill reviewed the 2006 COP Plan Update and presented to the committee for approval. Copies of the update were distributed to committee members. Taylor moved to approve update; seconded by Vaillancourt, passed by unanimous vote.
Thill discussed membership as Hainz, Taylor, and, Earl's terms will be completed. Mike Kaisbauer and Susan Tucker are nominees. Motion to approve appointment of Kaisbauer & Tucker to LTSPC by Irwin; seconded by Vaillancourt, passed by unanimous vote. Currently, we need someone to represent the AODA, dementia, and Family Support target groups.
None. The Long Term Support Planning Committee extends its thank you to John Earl and Charlotte Taylor for their many years of service to persons in Sauk County.
Irwin moved to adjourn meeting, seconded by Pieper, passed by unanimous vote.
