Personnel and Executive & Legislative Committees

A special joint meeting of the EXECUTIVE & LEGISLATIVE AND PERSONNEL Committees was called to order at 8:15 a.m. by County Board Chairman Wenzel and certification of open meeting compliance was given.

Members present: P. Endres, V. Hartje, C. Montgomery, H. Sprecher, W. Wenzel T. Bychinski, T. Meister C. Montgomery,

Others present: J. Briggs, C. Hendee, M. Koehler,K. Pope

County Board Chairman Wenzel opened the proceedings to nominations for a Chair of the Joint Meeting. Motion by P. Endres, second by V. Hartje to nominate W. Wenzel to preside as Chair of the Joint meeting.
Motion carried.

Motion by C. Montgomery, second by P. Tollaksen to close nominations and elect Wenzel Chair of the joint meeting.
Motion carried.

Motion by P. Endres, second by V. Hartje to adopt the agenda.
Motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS:

None.

BUSINESS ITEMS:

M. Koehler reviewed the procedures for conducting an internal promotion as allowed in Chapter 13 of the Sauk County Code of Ordinances. Motion by C. Montgomery, to have the Sauk County Personnel Department conduct a recruitment for the vacant Administrative Coordinator position within the State of Wisconsin with an application deadline of March 31, 2006, second by V. Hartje. A roll call vote of the motion and second was taken of each Committee.
