Public Health Board

Also Present: Bodendein, Lally, Wolff

Meeting called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Haugen and compliance with the open meeting law was noted.

Moved by White, seconded by Hannah to adopt the agenda.
Motion carried.

Moved by White, seconded by Schlender to approve the minutes of the March 8th, 2006 meeting.
Motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS:

Bodendein distributed a survey rom the Sauk County Tobacco Free Coalition to be completed by the Sauk County Board members.

BUSINESS ITEMS:

  1. The preliminary information for the 2007 budget process was distributed.
  2. Discussion regarding annual WPHA/WALHDAB meeting with approval of Haugen, Clement and White to attend.

DEPARTMENTAL UPDATES:

  1. Moved by Clement, seconded by Hannah to add the monthly reports to the meeting minutes. The monthly  committee budget report was distributed.

  2. Moved by Hannah, Seconded by Schlender to approve the MArch vouchers totaling $21, 916.00.
    Motion Carried
  3. Report from Lally regarding recent environmental issues in Sauk County.
  4. Report from Wolff regarding the 2005 animal bites survey report
  5. Report from Haugen on WALHDAB legislative issues update.

Next Board of Health meeting is set for May 10, 2006 at 6 p.m.

Moved by Kreigl, seconded by Hannah to adjourn.
Motion carried.
