2. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister.
   Motion carried.
3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sinklair.

6. Department: Parks
   1. Review and Approval of Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to approve March 2006 bills in the amount of $ 1,229.44 .

      Motion carried.

   2. Discuss Park Personnel/2007 Budget. Discussion followed.

      Motion by Hartje, seconded by Stevens to allow Koenig to work with Personnel to reclassify Matt Stieve's position to Park Ranger/Assistant Director and explore additional seasonal position outside 2006 Budget process.
      Motion carried.

   3. Approve Hiring Seasonal Workers. Discussion followed.

      Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Stevens to approve hiring seasonal workers.
      Motion carried.

   4. Approve Participation in Reedsburg Area High School Earth Day Activities. Discussion followed.

   5. Request by Alliant Energy to Cut Trees Along Kennedy Road in The Community Forest. Discussion followed.

      Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister to approve request by Alliant Energy to cut trees along Kennedy Road in the Community Forest.

7. Department: Transportation
   1. Review and Approval of Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Sinklair to approve March 2006 bills in the amount of $ 290,416.26.
      Motion carried.
   2. Review and Approval of Employee Requests for Vacation Carryovers.

      None.

   3. Airport Report. Discussion followed.

   4. Railroad Report. Discussion followed.

      No Action.

   5. Review and Approve Contract with MSA for County Bridge Inspection Program.

      Discussion followed.

      Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to approve contract with MSA for the County Bridge Inspection Program.
      Motion carried.

   6. Discuss 2006 Road Construction Projects. Discussion followed.

      No Action.

   7. Discuss Request for Safety Improvement to STH 33 and STH 23 Intersection. Discussion followed. Muchow has approached project engineers regarding recent accident and possibility of cutting down knoll and placing rumble strips in road.

      No Action.

   8. Discuss 4 Day Work Week for Highway Employees during Summer Construction Season. Discussion followed.

      No Action.

   9. Review and Approve Quotes on Construction Materials and Liquid Asphalt at 9:30 a.m. 9 Quotes were received for Road Construction Materials and Liquid Asphalt.

      Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to purchase materials which would be most advantageous to Sauk County.
      Motion carried.

   10. Discuss Spring County Highway Inspection Tour. Discussion followed. Set for

       April 21, 2006, 7:30 a.m. @ Longley's in Reedsburg.

       No Action.

   11. Review and Approve WisDOT Discretionary Maintenance Agreement. Contract between DOT and Sauk to reconstruct STH 159.
       Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister to approve WisDOT Discretionary Maintenance Agreement.
       Motion carried.
8. Next Meeting. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting set for Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. at the Highway Department office.
