      Motion by Hartje, seconded by Stevens to allow Koenig to work with Personnel to reclassify Matt Stieve's position to Park Ranger/Assistant Director and explore additional seasonal position outside 2006 Budget process.

    7. Discuss Request for Safety Improvement to STH 33 and STH 23 Intersection. Discussion followed. Muchow has approached project engineers regarding recent accident and possibility of cutting down knoll and placing rumble strips in road.

    8. Discuss 4 Day Work Week for Highway Employees during Summer Construction Season. Discussion followed.

    9. Review and Approve Quotes on Construction Materials and Liquid Asphalt at 9:30 a.m. 9 Quotes were received for Road Construction Materials and Liquid Asphalt.

      Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to purchase materials which would be most advantageous to Sauk County.

    10. Discuss Spring County Highway Inspection Tour. Discussion followed. Set for

      April 21, 2006, 7:30 a.m. @ Longley's in Reedsburg.

    11. Review and Approve WisDOT Discretionary Maintenance Agreement. Contract between DOT and Sauk to reconstruct STH 159.
      Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister to approve WisDOT Discretionary Maintenance Agreement.
