WCA AD HOC Committee

MEMBERS PRESENT: Paul Endres, Joan Fordham, Al Dippel, Terri Langer, Linda Borleske, Arthur Carlson, William Higgins, Lowell Haugen, Scott Alexander, Judith Stoeckmann, Henry Netzinger
MEMBERS ABSENT: Larry Schroeder
OTHERS PRESENT: Kathy Schauf, Ken West, Marty Krueger, Kerry Beghin, Sue Hebel, Larry Volz, Todd Liebmann, staff, media

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Joan Fordham. Open meeting law requirements were met.
Motion by Carlson, second by Borleske , to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Endres, second by Higgins to approve the minutes of the meeting. Fordham asked that the words "motion defeated" be deleted since there was no second to Carlson's motion to split the resolution. Motion carried with the above correction.

Motion by Endres, second by Stoeckmann, to nominate Joan Fordham to be chairperson for this meeting, that nominations be closed and a unanimous ballot cast. Motion carried.

Motion by Haugen, second by Alexander to move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85 (1) (e) "Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties...whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session". Purchase of public property. Endres, aye; Borleske, aye; Carlson, aye; Alexander, aye; Stoeckmann, aye; Fordham, aye; Dippel, aye; Haugen, aye; Langer, aye; Higgins, aye, Netzinger, aye. All county board members present were invited to stay for the closed session along with Schauf, Beghin, Gade and Alene Kletzek.

Reconvene in open session.

Consideration of a Resolution of Necessity for Acquisition of Property for Construction of a New Sauk County Health Care Center and Approval of Negotiated Purchase of the Creekview Gardens Site Located in the City of Reedsburg.
Motion by Endres, second by Higgins to approve the Resolution of Necessity for acquisition of property for construction of a new Sauk County Health Care Center and approval of negotiated purchase of the Creekview Gardens site located in the City of Reedsburg. Continuum of Care Committee: Ayes - 5; Naye - 2. Board of Trustees: Ayes - 4; Nayes - 2. Motion carried.

Motion by Netzinger, second by Stoeckmann to adjourn.
