The meeting was called to order at 9:30 AM by Chair Wiese.
Requirements of the Open Meeting Law were met.
Motion made by Borleske, second by Cassity to approve the agenda.

Motion made by Cassity, second by Lehman to approve the minutes of the
last meeting.
Motion carried.
A letter from Chelsea Holschbach, a recipient of the Alice in Dairyland Scholarship, thanking the committee for selecting her as a recipient.
A written summary was submitted to all members of the committee with
approval of the May invoices. Motion by Zowin, second by Borleske to pay
these bills. Motion carried.
There was a discussion of the drinking water program line item.
There was a discussion on the 2008 Budget Form 1. It was suggested that
we add the following statement so that it applies to the entire UW Extension
Office. (To develop and implement relevant and timely educational programs,
the Agents must remain flexible and adaptable. Therefore, at least 25%
of each Agents' time is left unplanned.) With that addition the Budget
Form 1 approved. Motion by Lehman, second by Zowin to accept the Form 1.

The list of the Shared Leadership Duties for the Sauk County UW Extension Office was reviewed and approved. Cassity suggested that we be sure that the communication between office staff is kept open.
Each member of the committee was given a handout written by Dick Pederson, Southern District Director, invited those interested to the WACEC District 2 meeting/educational tour. It will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Walworth County.
Dorothy Harms was welcomed as the new 4-H Advisory Committee Member. A motion was made by Lehman, second by Borleske to accept Harms as the new 4-H Advisory Committee Member.
Erickson reported on the Baraboo River Map and the work she has been doing with the Villages of Sauk City, Prairie du Sac and the Town of Prairie du Sac on the Cooperative Boundary Agreement.. She also reported on the survey that has been sent to a random number of Baraboo area residents asking for their input on the Baraboo River Redevelopment Project. She is working with the City of Baraboo in this endeavor. Much enthusiam was shown for the work our office is doing with the Bluffview Village in getting a soccer field established. The celebration of this project will be June 10.
Jens reported on the work she is doing with the Bluffview Village with the community family garden. She also reported that she will be going to Madison on June 13 to help review the applications for the Agricultural Agent position.
