Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 PM by Chair Wiese.

Certification of Open Meeting Notice
Requirements of the Open Meeting Law were met.

Approval of Agenda
Motion made by Borleske, second by Cassity to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Approval of Minutes of Last Meeting
Motion made by Cassity, second by Borleske to approve the minutes of the last meeting.
Motion carried.

Correspondence - None

Bills and Financial Report
A written summary was submitted to all members of the committee for approval of the November invoices. Motion by Borleske, second by Zowin to pay these bills. Motion carried.

Update on Needs Assessment
Nagelkerk brought the committee up to date regarding the Needs Assessment Survey.
She explained that this is done every four years to obtain information from the community, businesses and other interested people about Extension's programming. She reported that we are doing this via several different methods: on-line and by sending hard copies to those that might not have home computers. The results of this survey will be discussed at the December committee meeting.

Office Development Plan
The Agents' reports were discussed. We will be trying quarterly reporting by each agent. Each agent will write an impact statement on one of their major programming areas for that quarter. That agent will also do a short presentation of that programming area.

Department Update
Nagelkerk reported on the training program she attended on "Powerful Tools for Caregiving". She will be working with the Commission on Aging Office to recruit participants and doing news releases, etc.

Erickson reported on the upcoming Planning Commission & Committee Workshop that will be held on Wed., Nov. 29 at the West Square Building. She reported that we will have a good attendance - approximately 50 people. This workshop is the second of the series to be held focusing on implementing the plan. She also reported on the 4-H interviews that she and Bob Cassity did with 14 Sauk County 4-H members applying for various awards and trips.

Varney reported that Angela Beihen will be starting in a parttime position on Monday, Dec. 3. She will be working with the Head Start classes in Sauk County.

Lewis reported on the new 4-H enrollment system that is being implemented in the State of Wisconsin and the new "Club Tub" project for each Sauk County 4-H Club which includes a copy of all project materials for a club library.

Thursday, December 20 starting at 9 AM in the ETN Room on the 3rd floor of the West Square Bldg.
