The regular meeting of the Sauk County Arts, Humanities and Historic Preservation Committee was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 1:00 p.m. by Judy Ashford.
Members present: Arthur Carlson, Dale Loomis, Peter Tollaksen, Tommy Lee Bychinski, Molly Arbogast, Judy Ashford
Members excused: Rose White
Others present: Orris Smith, Kathy Schauf, Tracy Madison, Dale Jaedike
The agenda was approved on a motion by Bychinski, second by Tollaksen, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.
The minutes of the prior meeting were approved on a motion by Tollaksen, second by Bychinski, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.
Public Appearances / Public Comment
Dale Jaedike relayed information about Sauk County's role in the growth of Eco-Tourism and how the Committee might support projects encouraging it.
Tracy Madison relayed information on a Wisconsin Arts Board Town Meeting she recently attended.
Communications
Thank you from the Old Franklin Township Historical Society for the money to purchase their "Past Perfect" museum management software.

Discussion of Additional assistance for the River Arts Sauk Prairie Between Fences Project
Motion made by Tollaksen, second by Bychinski to approve giving the River Arts Center, Between Fences Project $5000.00. Motion approved.
Discussion of Health Care Center Firehouse Property Resolution
Discussed holding off on advancing the Firehouse Property Resolution which was approved at last month's meeting.
Considered a request to reprint additional copies of the book "The Sauk County Court House Symbol of Progress"
Discussed printing additional copies of the book. No action taken at this time.

Motion made by Tollaksen, second by Carlson approving vouchers of $486.53, with a unanimous committee vote.
Meeting adjourned on a motion by Bychinski second by Tollaksen, with a unanimous committee vote.
Next meeting date was set for 1:15 p.m. on December 14, 2007, in Room 213, West Square Building.
