Executive & Legislative Committee

Members Present: Krueger, Stevens, Fordham, and Ashford. (Supervisor Wenzel arrived during the closed session portion of the meeting.)
Others Present: K. Schauf, B. Mielke, and A. Kleczek

Chair Krueger called the meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. and noted compliance with the Open Meeting Law.

Motion by Stevens, seconded by Ashford to approve the agenda for today's meeting, as mailed. Motion carried.

Motion by Ashford, seconded by Fordham to go into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(l)(g) conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved: Sauk Co. v. U.S. Dept. of the Interior and allow the following individuals to remain: K. Schauf, B. Mielke, and A. Kleczek. Roll call vote was taken on the motion with the following results: AYE: (4) Stevens, Krueger, Fordham, and Ashford. Motion carried and the Committee went into closed session at 5:05 P.M.

At 5:15 P.M. the Committee returned to open session followed with a motion by Stevens, seconded by Fordham to authorize appeal of IBIA decision regarding Parcel 7 in accordance with previous County Board resolutions. Motion carried.

Motion by Wenzel, seconded by Ashford to go into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(l)(g) conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved: Sauk Co. v. Jeff Kozlowski, et al: and allow the following individuals to remain: K. Schauf, B. Mielke, and A. Kleczek. Roll call vote was taken on the motion with the following results: AYE: (5) Stevens, Wenzel, Krueger, Fordham, and Ashford. Motion carried and the Committee went into closed session at 5:20 P.M. At 5:45 P.M. the Committee returned to open session followed with a motion by Stevens, seconded by Ashford to adjourn. Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 5:45 P.M.
