The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 5:30 p.m.
The agenda was approved on a motion by Fordham, second by Wenzel, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.
Motion by Fordham, second by Wenzel, approve the payment of the county
bills in the amount of $907,733.08.
Motion carried.
The Committee discussed the request for up to $10,000 from the Contingency Fund for to fund initial soil borings at the Community Forest. There was significant discussion of the need for master planning related to the forest, as well as the entire parks system, with involvement of the residents of the County. Motion by Fordham, second by Bychinski to approve a transfer not to exceed $10,000 from the Contingency Fund to the Parks Department for initial soil borings at the Community Forest, with the understanding that the Forest Management Fund will later reimburse the Contingency Fund. Motion carried, with Kriegl opposed.
Motion by Fordham, second by Bychinski to adjourn the meeting.
