Members Present: Art Carlson, Sue Hebel, Gina Thill, Trish Vandre, Betty Irwin, Carie Pieper, Lisa Karau, Pat Rego, Susan Tucker, Shell Lea Hainz, Alice Moyer

Members Absent: Bert Vaillancourt, Barb Walsh, Theron Hill, Catherine Hornenberger

Call to Order and Certification of the Open Meeting Law: Carlson called the meeting to order and certified compliance with the open meeting law.

Adopt Agenda:

Rego moved to approve agenda, seconded by Irwin, passed by unanimous vote.

Approval of February 7, 2007 meeting minutes. Vandre moved to approve minutes, seconded by Rego, passed by unanimous vote.

Review Committee By-laws:

Thill reviewed by-law changes as previously made. Carlson asked Thill to contact County Board Chair regarding committee membership. Vandre moved to accept by-laws as changed, seconded by Moyer, passed by unanimous vote.

Long Term Support Planning Committee Review and Voting for Membership:

Rego moved to approve Vaillancourt for a second, three year term to represent persons with serious and persistent mental illness, seconded by Vandre, passed by unanimous vote. Vandre moved to approve Irwin for a second, three year term to represent the elderly, seconded by Tucker, passed by unanimous vote. Vandre moved to approve Pieper for a second, three year term to represent hospitals, seconded by Rego, passed by unanimous vote. Tucker moved to approve Charlotte Taylor for a new three year term to represent nursing homes, seconded by Pieper, passed by unanimous vote.

Schedule to Tour AFH & CBRF Facilities:

Date of tour will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Transportation discussed. Sign up sheet passed around.

Trainings:

Thill distributed training information to Long Term Support Planning Committee members. Members are encouraged to attend one training per year in the area of long term care services. Vandre announced April 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. a public forum will be held at the West Square building in Baraboo. Trish Vandre and William Orth will be presenting information regarding long term care redesign.
