A special meeting of the Sauk County Law Enforcement & Judiciary Committee was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in the Gallery of the Sauk County Board Room, third floor, West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, Wisconsin.

1. Call To Order and Certification of Open Meeting Law : The meeting was called to order and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was certified by Chair Donald Stevens at 5:45 PM.
2. Agenda : Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Montgomery, to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
3 . Consideration of Resolution Authorizing the Opening of Unit A to House Prisoners from Other Jurisdictions in the Sauk County Law Enforcement Center :
Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Montgomery, to approve the resolution Authorizing the Opening of Unit A to House Prisoners from Other Jurisdictions in the Sauk County Law Enforcement Center and to take the resolution to the Sauk County Board of Supervisors at their meeting on June 19, 2007, at 6 PM .
Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Wheeler, to amend the resolution to specifically reflect that the revenues and expenditures be accounted for separate from any other expense and revenue accounts. Motion failed by a three to two vote.
Motion by Wheeler, seconded by Sinklair, that the language in the resolution be changed to include the verbiage "detailed tracking of all expenses and revenues." Corporation Counsel Todd Liebman informed the committee that these language changes could be brought forward on the County Board floor when the regular meeting was in session. Motion failed by a three to two vote.
The original motion was called. Motion carried by a vote of three to two.
4. Adjourn to Date Specified : Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Montgomery, to adjourn the special meeting. Motion carried.
