WCA Ad Hoc Committee

The first meeting of the Sauk County WCA AD HOC Committee was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 5:30 p.m.

Members present: Arthur Carlson, Rose White, Charlie Montgomery, Al Dippel, Kathy Zowin

Members excused:

Others present: Marty Krueger, Dale Jaedike

The agenda was approved on a motion by Zowin, second by Dippel, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.

Business Items:

Election of a Chairperson

Motion made by Montgomery, seconded by White to nominate Carlson as Chairperson. Motion carried.

Election of Secretary

Motion made by Carlson, seconded by Dippel to nominate Jaedike as Secretary. Motion carried.

Charlie Montgomery will Coordinate Booth Staffing

Art Carlson will Coordinate Spouse Tour Volunteers
Kathy Zowin and Rose White will Coordinate the collection of Lunch Tickets on Monday Oct 8
Sauk County will not sponsor a Hospitality Room

Questions on Farm Tour - where is it? Dale Jaedike will get info from WCA

All committee members will seek out donation items representing Sauk County to be raffled off in a basket at the booth - Rose White and Kathy Zowin will coordinate the effort.
Art Carlson will talk to Pete Shrake and Paul Wolter regarding a backdrop for use in the booth.

Discussion regarding items to be personalized with Sauk County identification, purchased and given at the booth- pencils seemed to be the preferred item.

Dale Jaedike will get more info on Progressive Farmer's designation several years ago of Sauk County as one of the best county's in the US to live in.

Kathy Zowin will check into information available at Devil's Lake/Natural Bridge State Parks
Rose White will talk with Craig Culver to see if they are interested in getting involved, and will see if she can get additional information on a video created about Eagles in Sauk County.

Meeting adjourned on a motion by Montgomery, seconded by Dippel, with a unanimous committee vote.
