Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by White and compliance with open
meeting law was noted.
Moved by Haugen, second by Horenberger to adopt the agenda.
Moved by Horenberger second by Clement to adopt the minutes to the previous
meeting.
COMMUNICATIONS:
- A copy of the WIC annual report was distributed.
- Dental article from the Washington Post distributed.
- Smoke Free news distributed.
- Kriegl presented Farmers' Health Cooperative of Wisconsin fact sheet.
BUSINESS ITEMS:
Kathy Schauf, County Administrative Coordinator, reviewed the Public Health
Director job description and presented the timeline for posting and hiring.
Clement and Haugen agreed to be part of the interview committee.
DEPARTMENTAL UPDATES:
- Moved by Schlender, second by Haugen to add the monthly reports
to the minutes of the meeting.
Motion carried.
- Moved by Haugen, second by Clement to approve paying the February
vouchers totaling $19, 935.46.
Motion carried.
- Motion by Horenberger second by Haugen to approve a Long Term Project
position for a Environmental Health Technician.
Motion
carried.
- Motion by Clement, second by Delong to approve reclassification
of Dietetic Technician to a Registered Dietitian in the WIC
program.
Motion carried.
- Discussion of "Form 1" 2008 budget reviewed. 2007 information
reviewed. Requested changes will be brought back to the April
Board of Public Health meeting..
- Konkel presented Accounts Receivable Collection Policy.
- Motion by Kriegl, second by Horenberger to amend by removal of the
3% terminology from the annual cost of living increase
for contracted employees. Motion carried.
- Michele Wolff presented report on communicable disease in Sauk County.
- egislative update presented by Haugen.
Next Board of Public Health meeting is scheduled for 4/11/07 at 6 p.m.
Moved by Schlender, second by Clement to adjourn.
