1. Meeting called to order by Hartje at 7:30 a.m. Certification of Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
2. Adopt Amended Agenda: Motion by Volz, second by Dippel to approve agenda.
   Carried.
3. Adopt draft minutes of January 2007: Motion by Montgomery, second by Volz.
   Carried.
4. Public comment - none.
5. Communications -
   1. ) Request from UW Extension to use County Board room was discussed. Committee requested that they appear before them at the next meeting before formally addressing the request.
   2. Discussed request of Downtown Baraboo, Inc. to use the Courthouse lawn for Faire on the Square, Boofest and Christmas season. Move by Volz, 2nd by Dippel to approve.
      Carried.

   4. Discussed request by Sauk County Art Associations to use Courthouse Square for the Annual Summer Art Classic. Move by Montgomery, 2nd by Dippel.
      Carried.
6. Business Items
   1. Treasurer's Report - Resolution to sell tax deeded parcel 030-0213-00000. Move by Volz, 2nd by Dippel. Carried. Discussed Dellwood status and private drive status off Sleepy Hollow. Larry Volz will be attending Town of Dellona meeting re Dellwood Court. Larry will also attend Greenfield Town meeting re private drive off Sleepy Hollow.
   2. Move by Dippel, 2nd by Volz to appoint Virgil Hartje to represent the P&I Committee in the selection process for an Architect for the Long Term Care Complex. Carried.
   3. Discussed DNR lease of space in West Square. Originally this was a five year lease, renewed for five years and then last year was renewed as a one year lease. The lease being presented was for five years. Committee felt a five year lease was too long, moved by Montgomery, 2nd by Volz that the lease be approved as a two year lease. Carried.
7. Departmental Updates - Risk Management (Carl Gruber)
   1. Monthly Report was given.
   2. Review and approval of deductibles - Motion by Dippel, second by Volz to approve deductibles totaling $3,075.00.
      Carried.
   3. Gruber discussed setting cost for the driving simulator, as more people are showing an interest in utilizing the simulator. Discussion followed on what to charge. Move by Montgomery, 2nd by Dippel that the fees be set as follows:
      • No charge to municipal agencies within Sauk County
      • In-county Private businesses will be charged $10 per person per session
      • Any agency, public or private outside the county will be charged $20 per person per session.
      • Class size will have a minimum of eight (8) and a maximum of twelve (12)
        Carried.
   Departmental Updates - Buildings & Safety (Tim Stieve)
   1. Monthly Report was given, including time spent at the landfill.
   2. Discussed changing of the signage at VARC. Moved by Montgomery, 2nd Dippel. Carried
   3. No report for 3rd Ave Apartments was available.
   4. Review and approval of vouchers -- Motion by Montgomery, second by Volz to approve monthly vouchers totaling $139,349.15 for 2006 and $65,033.18 for 2007.
      Carried.

9. Motion by Dippel, second by Volz to adjourn meeting.
