The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 5:00 p.m. The agenda was approved on a motion by Fordham, second by Bach, and a unanimous vote of the Committee.
Beghin and Schauf emphasized that it is far too early to rely on solid dollar estimates. They described the very rough estimate of expenses to date, including food and supplies for the volunteers helping with cleanup and in the EOC. Repairs for roads have an initial estimate of approximately $2 million, but that will very likely change as the infrastructure is further evaluated. The value of County staff time will also be significant. It was the consensus of the Committee to delay transferring any funds until more information is available.
Motion by Wenzel, second by Bach, to approve the payment of the county bills in the amount of $258,504.76. Motion carried.
Motion by Krueger, second by Bach to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
