The MIS Committee meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2008 by Chairperson Stoeckmann.
Members present: Gaalswyk, Huffaker, Netzinger and Stoeckmann.
Motion to adopt agenda by Netzinger, seconded by Huffaker. Agreed on by
committee.
Motion carried.
Motion to adopt minutes by Huffaker, seconded by Gaalswyk. Agreed on by
committee.
Motion carried.
Communications: Pate has talked to a couple of depts. That want to do communicate to the public through digital TV. Both Vandre and Erickson will provide Pate with more information after researching this possibility.
Budget 2009 Form 1: Pate conferred with committee members about goals and objectives for 2009. Mission and Vision statements were revised by Pate and open for discussion.
Update on Web Posting Issues: No issues to report.
Update on Fiber Optic: Pate gave update on training in Texas - focused on interconnectivity throughout the County.
Update on security analysis: Firewall should be up and running by April.
Donation for Coast Guard: Pate pulled this request since the County is not able to supply the needed hardware that the Guard requested.
Donation for City of Baraboo: Pate handed out donation
request form. Motion to approve by Netzinger, seconded by Gaalswyk. Agreed
on by committee.

Recycling Program: Pate and Van Burkel discussed the possibility of setting up a computer hardware recycling program - Discussion followed.
