Purpose: Canvass votes in Sauk County, Wisconsin of the Spring Primary Election held, February 19, 2008.

• Call to order: 9:00 a.m.
• Compliance with Open Meeting Law.
• Present: Suzanne B. Dohner, a Sauk County Canvasser; Rebecca A. DeMars, a Sauk County Canvasser; and Patricia A. Van Oosten, Lead Deputy Sauk County Clerk.
• City of Baraboo, Wards: 1, 2, 11, 12, 13 & 14:
  poll list: 1,228
  # of ballots: 1,296

  Cheryl Giese, City of Baraboo Clerk, explained the Optical Scan machine jammed and ballots were reinserted, but had counted the jammed and reinserted ballots.

  A conference call was made to the State of Wisconsin Government Accountability Board who advised the City of Baraboo Clerk and her poll workers recheck the ballots for the Optical Scan machine. The State also advised that it is permissible to download a second memory card for this purpose.

  The City of Baraboo Clerk arranged to have the ballots for Wards 1, 2, 11, 12, 13 & 14: for the Optical Scan machine re-counted on Friday, February 22, 2008 @ 8:00 a.m.

  3:00 p.m., moved Dohner/Van Oosten, to adjourn until 8:00 a.m. On Friday, February 22, 2008.
  Motion carried unanimously.
