1. Meeting called to Order by Chairman Hartje. Present: Hartje, Meister, Volz, Gaalswyk and Sprecher.

   Also present: Muchow; Carignan; Koenig; Kathryn Schauf - Sauk County Administrative Coordinator; Marty Krueger - County Board Chair; Dave Tremble - Planning & Zoning; Donald Stevens - County Board Supervisor; Greg Roth - Fabco.
2. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Volz, seconded by Meister.
   Motion carried.
3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Meister, seconded by Volz.
   Motion carried.
4. Election of Committee Officers.
   • Nomination for Committee Chairperson:
     Motion by Volz, seconded by Meister to nominate Supervisor Hartje.
     Motion carried.
     Results of vote: Supervisor Hartje elected unanimously.
     
     
   • Nomination for Committee Vice-Chairperson:
     Motion by Volz, seconded by Meister to nominate Supervisor Meister.
     Motion carried.

7. Department: Parks
   1. Review and Approval of Vouchers. Discussion followed. Motion by Meister, seconded by Sprecher to approve April 2008 bills in the amount of $ 14,872.94 .

   2. Possible Closed Session Pursuant to Wisc. Stats. §19.85 (1)(c) Considering Employment, Promotion, Compensation or Performance Evaluation Data of any Public Employee over which the Governmental Body has Jurisdiction or Exercises Responsibility. Performance Evaluation of Parks Director.

   4. Discuss Possible Kayak Rentals at White Mound Park. Discussion followed.Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Gaalswyk to approve purchase of kayaks pending Corp Counsel approval.

   4. Approve Attendance for Committee Members at WCHA Summer Highway Conference to be held June 9-11, 2008. Motion by Sprecher, seconded by Volz to approve attendance for Hartje, Meister, Sprecher, Gaalswyk and Volz at the WCHA Summer Conference on June 9-11, 2008.
