The regular meeting of the Sauk County Law Enforcement Committee was held on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at 9:30A.M., in room D102A Community Room, 1300 Lange Court, Baraboo, Wisconsin.
The meeting was properly posted and all interested parties were notified.

• Call to Order and Certification of Open Meeting Law: The meeting was called to order and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was certified by Chair Donald Stevens at 10:18 A.M.
• Agenda: Chair Stevens asked to move Items 10 & 11 ahead of Item 8. Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Sinklair, to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
• Approve minutes of Previous Meeting(s): Motion by Sinklair, seconded by Tollaksen to approve the minutes from the November 3rd meeting and the November 10th special meeting. Motion carried.

• Sauk County Animal Shelter operations update:
Animal Shelter took in 52 dogs and 81 cats in the month of November.
The Shelter assisted Adams County by collection donations and also housing some of the seized dogs from an incident that occurred in Adams County.

*11. Consideration and approval of Resolution Denying Claim of Estate of Christopher Ramsey and Janet & Melvin Ramsey.

• Review and approve November, 2009, expenses for Coroner:
Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Halfen, to approve payment of the Coroner's expenses for November 2009, in the amount of $7,317.63. Bills discussed. Motion carried.
• Review and approve November, 2009, expenses for Sheriff:
Motion by Montgomery, seconded by Tollaksen, to approve payment of the Sheriff's Department expenses for November 2009, in the amount of $122,376.58. Bills discussed. Motion carried.
• Jail Report
Boarding other Jurisdictions for 2009, $1,978,735.68 has been collected in 2009.
DOC Housing Report shows net revenue of $46,847 for November 2009 bringing the YTD net revenue total to $655,924.
Electronic Monitoring for the month of November included 273 offender days for net revenue of $3,138.50.
• Administrative Report
Supervisory overtime for the month of November was 106.5.5 hrs, which includes 47.5 hrs for special investigations and 59 hrs for holiday.
The Committee was reminded that they must tour the Jail on an annual basis. The Committee discussed completing the Jail tour during the January meeting.
• Field Services Report
In the month of November there were 117 prisoner transports. The year to date total for prisoner transports is 1,706.
• Adjournment
The next regular meeting of the committee was scheduled for January 12, 2009 at 09:30am. Motion by Montgomery, seconded by Halfen, to adjourn the meeting.
