The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Stoeckmann and certification of the open meeting law was noted.
Moved by Brown, seconded by Clement to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Moved by Clement seconded by Brown to adopt the minutes of the 4/8/2009 Public health Board meeting. Motion carried.

Business Items for Discussion and/or Action:
Motion by Clement second by Stehling to go into closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (C) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance evaluation of Director/Health Officer. Roll call vote: Ayes (Stehling, Haugen, Clement, Brown, Stoeckmann); Nayes: 0. Motion carried.
Motion by Haugen, second by Stehling to reconvene in open session. Motion carried.
Motion by Haugen second by Stehling to approve the Open Air Assembly permit for the Border Rider Motor Cycle Club. Motion carried.
Motion by Haugen, second by Stehling to postpone approval to Amend Chapter 28 of the Sauk County Code of Ordinances. Regulation of Tattoo Artists, Tattoo Establishment, body piercers and Body Piercing Establishment until June 2009. Request for copy of the full Ordinance by Haugen. Motion carried.
Update by Bodendein on Novel Influenza A (H1N1) 2009
Department updates:
Financial and monthly reports reviewed.
Motion by Clement, second by Brown to approve the April 2009 invoices for $26,880.23. Motion carried.
WPHA/WALHDOB Legislative Updates: Committee has not met.
