REGULAR MEETING

ATTENDANCE:

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by M. Huffaker at 5:15 p.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.

AGENDA: Motion by T. Bychinski to adopt the Agenda, amended as follows, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.

Move Business Items 6(a)(3), Consideration of Programs and Priorities, before Business Items 6a, Aging & Disability Resource Center

ADOPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by S. Bach to approve the February 10, 2010 Minutes, second by D. Blakeslee. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None registered.

BUSINESS ITEMS:

A. Veterans Service Office

1. Consider Possible Closed Session Pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85(1)(c) Considering Employment, Promotion, Compensation, or Performance Evaluation Data of any Public Employee Over which the Governmental Body has Jurisdiction or Exercises Responsibility. Performance Evaluation of Veteran Service Officer. Motion by T. Bychinski to go into Closed Session Pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85(1)(c)
Considering Employment, Promotion, Compensation, or Performance Evaluation Data of any Public Employee Over which the Governmental Body has Jurisdiction or Exercises Responsibility. Performance Evaluation of Veteran Service Officer, second by S. Bach. Ayes: five (5); Nayes zero (0). Motion carried.

2. Consider Reconvening in Open Session: Motion by S. Bach to reconvene in Open Session, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.

3. Veteran Service Office Update: T. Tyczynski distributed and presented the highlights from the February 2010/March 2010 Department Update.

4. Consider Approval of the Monthly Vouchers: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the February vouchers, in the amount of $838.71, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.

B. Aging & Disability Resource Center

1. Consider Approval of Resolution No. -10, Proclamation of April 2010 as Family Caregiver Month in Sauk County: Motion by D. Blakeslee to approve of Resolution No. -10, Proclamation of April 2010 as Family Caregiver Month in Sauk County, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.

2. Consider Approval of 2009 Year-End Financial Statement: Withdrawn by T. Vandre.

3. Discuss 2010 Congregate Program: Dining Center Utilization: Withdrawn by T. Vandre.

4. Aging & Disability Resource Center Director Update: T. Vandre distributed and presented the highlights from the February 2010/March 2010 Department Update.

5. Review Monthly Financial Statements: L. Roundy presented the current financial statements and entertained any questions.

6. Consider Approval of the Monthly Vouchers: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the February 2010 vouchers, in the amount of $39,206.71, second by S. Bach.  Motion carried.

C. Consideration of Programs and Priorities: T. Tyczynski distributed and presented the 2010 Veterans Program Grading Sheet for Committee discussion. T. Vandre distributed and presented the 2010 ADRC Program Grading Sheet for Committee discussion.

AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE:  No update.

AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER OF SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN – NORTH BOARD UPDATE: The next regularly scheduled meeting is Friday, March 5, 2010.

NEXT MEETING: The next Regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 8:15 a.m. at the West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo.

ADJOURNMENT: Motion by S. Bach to adjourn the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee at 6:45 p.m., second by T. Bychinski. Motion carried.
