To support the residents, tourism, industry, and natural resources, Sauk County elects thirty-one non-partisan board members every two years. These board members oversee the allocation of resources, emergency services, social service programming, cultural and community development, as well as govern through legislation.

Many people are needed to support the efforts and initiatives - about 650 employees operate throughout Sauk County in a variety of capacities. Baraboo, Wisconsin is the county seat and the hub of operations. There you will find the majority of our employees engaged in things like:

    - Support Services to County Operations

 

Sauk County has additional services located in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Reedsburg also has Sauk Country's Health Care Center, a rehabilitative and long-term care center.
