CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by M. Huffaker at 8:15 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
AGENDA: Motion by S. Bach to adopt the Agenda, amended as follows, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.
Move Business Items 6b, Veteran Service Officer Update, before Business Items 6a, Aging & Disability Resource Center
ADOPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by S. Bach to approve the January 13, 2010 Minutes, second by D. Blakeslee. Motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT: T. Vandre introduced R. Kenealy, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Volunteer Intern with the Aging & Disability Resource Center. R. Kenealy presented her education goals and how she will participate within the Aging & Disability Resource Center as a volunteer intern.
COMMUNICATIONS: T. Vandre presented information about the regional survey.
BUSINESS ITEMS:
B. Veteran Service Officer Update: T. Tyczynski distributed and presented the highlights from the January 2010/February 2010 Department Update.
1. Consider Approval of the Monthly Vouchers: Motion by S. Bach to approve the December vouchers, in the amount of $315.00, and the January vouchers, in the amount of $449.60, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.
A. Aging & Disability Resource Center
1. Consider Approval of Escort Driver Passenger Fare Increase to $0.30 per Mile: Motion by S. Bach to approve the escort driver passenger fare increase to $0.30 per mile, second by D. Blakeslee. Motion carried.
2. Consider Approval of Private Pay Policy: Motion by S. Bach to approve the Private Pay Policy, Effective March 1, 2010, second by D. Blakeslee. Motion carried.
3. Consider Approval of Resolution No. 10-10, Recognizing the American Dietetic Association’s Proclamation of March 2010 as National Nutrition Month: Motion
by T. Bychinski to approve Resolution No. 10-10, Recognizing the American Dietetic Association’s Proclamation of March 2010 as National Nutrition Month, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.
4. Discuss 2010 Congregate Program: Dining Center Utilization: Committee discussed the 2010 Congregate Program.
5. Aging & Disability Resource Center Director Update: T. Vandre distributed and presented the highlights from the January 2010/February 2010 Department Update.
6. Review Preliminary 2009 Year-End Financials: L. Roundy distributed the preliminary 2009 Year-End Projection for Committee review and discussion.
7. Review Monthly Financial Statements: L. Roundy presented the current financial statements and entertained any questions.
8. Consider Approval of the Monthly Vouchers: Motion by D. Blakeslee to approve the December 2009 vouchers, in the amount of $5,643.79, and the January 2010 vouchers, in the amount of $36,197.72, second by T. Bychinski. Motion carried.
AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE:
A. Carlson presented the update from the most recent meeting.
AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER OF SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN – NORTH BOARD UPDATE: T. Vandre presented the update.
NEXT MEETING: The next Regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at the West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion by A. Carlson to adjourn the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee at 10:58 a.m., second by S. Bach. Motion carried.
