TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Dale Clark has filed an application for a Special Exception Permit pursuant to s.7.060 of the Sauk County Zoning Ordinance to authorize the continued operation of a non-metallic mining site, one acre or greater and a Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Permit pursuant to s. 24.05 of the Sauk County Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Ordinance.  A combined hearing on the special exception permit and reclamation plan will be held on August 30, 2018 at 9 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the County Board Room in the Sauk County West Square Building, Baraboo, Wisconsin.

The location and operation of non-metallic mining site is located in an Agriculture zoning district, on real estate described as:

Parcel 1
Part of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 2, T8N, R3E and including parcel 032-0072-00000, Town of Spring Green, Sauk County.

Parcel 2
Part of the NW ¼ of the SE 1/4, NE ¼ of the SE 1/4, and the SW ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 2, T8N, R3E and including parcels 032-0068-00000, 032-0084-00000, 032-0083-00000, Town of Spring Green, Sauk County.

Parcel 3
Part of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼, SW ¼  of the SE 1/4 , SE ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 35, T9N, R3E and including parcels 032-1312-00000, 032-1311-00000, and 032-1308-00000, Town of Spring Green, Sauk County.

All parcels are owned by Clark Living Trust; Dale W. and Judith F. Clark.

The hearing will be conducted for the purpose of explaining and receiving comments from affected person on the proposed mining and reclamation.  All persons are invited to attend said hearing and be heard.  Copies of the Special Exception Application and Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Permit and Plan are available for review during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI 53913.  The public may contact the Conservation, Planning, and Zoning Department with questions at (608) 355-3245.
