MEETING NOTICE/AGENDA

DATE:                       Wednesday, December 2, 2020                    TIME:  6:00 p.m.

The meeting is open for public attendance, however, no one should attend the meeting if they are experiencing COVID- or flu-like symptoms, have a fever, sore throat or recently experienced a loss of taste or smell. Masks and social distancing of 6 feet is required.

If you wish to participate via Zoom, you must contact the Sauk County Land Resources and Environment Department by calling 608-355-3245 before noon on Wednesday, December 2nd so you can be added to the registration and we may add you as a panelist.

 

REASON FOR MEETING:  SPECIAL MEETING – HEMLOCK DAM AND HEMLOCK PARK

SUBJECTS FOR DISCUSSION:

  1. Call to order and certify compliance with open meetings law
  2. Adopt agenda
  3. Review and discussion:   Bathymetric study prepared by Ayres Associates for Hemlock Park/Dam.   
  4. Discussion:  Land Use Agreement between the County of Sauk and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for Hemlock Dam.
  5. Public comment        
  6. *Discussion with Town of LaValle Board regarding the future of Hemlock Park and Hemlock Dam
  7. Discussion:  Possible agenda item for December 10 regular LRE  Committee meeting                                              
  8. Next meeting dates- Thursday, December 10, 2020 and Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
  9. Adjournment
