MOTION (Czuprynko/Wenzel) to approve bills in the amount of $8,025.01. Motion carried unanimously.
b) Discussion of 2019 Budget (County Clerk and Dogs).
Daniel Olson, Corporation Counsel Department:
a) Olson presented the monthly report and list of bills for his department.
MOTION (Vedro/Hambrecht) to approve bills in the amounts of $145.75 and $723.91. Motion carried unanimously.

Alene Kleczek Bolin, Administrative Coordinator:
a) Kleczek Bolin presented the monthly report and list of bills for her department.
MOTION (Czuprynko/Wenzel) to approve the bills in the amount of $328.49. Motion carried unanimously.
b) Kleczek Bolin presented the Criminal Justice Program monthly report and list of bills for the department.
MOTION (Czuprynko/Wenzel) to approve the bills in the amount of $4,016.86. Motion carried unanimously.
c) Discussion of 2019 Budget (Criminal Justice Program and Administration).

Discussion of Group Crane Tour by County Board through the Aldo Leopold Foundation:
Kleczek Bolin gave an overview. Group tour would take place in November or December. Cost ranges from $35.00 to $75.00 per person. Committee consensus was to get information to county board members and schedule a tour.
Consideration of Letter of Support for Merger of UW College campus and Receiving Institution (UW Baraboo/Sauk County merging with UW-Platteville) and support of identified name of branch campus:
Kleczek Bolin gave an overview. Chair Vedro read the sample memo he has prepared. MOTION (Vedro/Hambrecht) to approve and forward the memo. Motion carried unanimously.
Discussion and Recognition of Gene Robkin and Halsey Sprecher:
Discussion took place among the committee. The committee agreed that Supervisor Wenzel will recognize both
Individuals’ during the invocation at County Board and that a moment of silence will occur.
Consideration of Wisconsin County Associations Resolutions:
Chair Vedro gave a brief overview. Discussion took place among the committee.
Consideration of Countywide Advisory Referendum Parameters and Discussion of Issues that are appropriate for
Referendum:

MOTION (Vedro/Wenzel) to put forward to the County Board and then forwarding to WCA a resolution Supporting
Legislation Changing Property Tax Assessment and Valuation for Large Commercial Retailers and a resolution Supporting
The Legalization of Medically Prescribed Marijuana.
MOTION (Czuprynko/Hambrecht) amend the motion by putting forward to the County Board and then forwarding to WCA a resolution Supporting Legislation Changing Property Tax Assessment and Valuation for Large Commercial Retailers and then taking to County Board a Resolution to Conduct Countywide Advisory Referendum on Legalization of Medically Prescribed Marijuana. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (Vedro/Hambrecht) to adjourn until August 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. and placing the remainder of the agenda items on the August 7, 2018 E&L agenda. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 3:35 p.m.
