Members present:  Henry Netzinger, Bill Higgins, Dennis Polivka, Chuck Spencer, Mary Ellen Murray,  and Mike Flint

 

Absent: Terri Langer

 

Others present: Jennifer Vosen, Theresa Dietz, and Marty Krueger

 

1.  Meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. by Chair Netzinger and certified compliance with the open meeting law.

 

2.  Motion by Higgins, second by Flint, to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

 

3.  Motion by Murray, second by Spencer, to approve the minutes of the September 15, 2016 meeting.   Motion carried.

 

4.  Public Comment – Netzinger mentioned that public comments are limited to a maximum of three minutes. 

 

5.  Communication – Jenny extended an invitation to the Trustees for the Family Fun Fair on Saturday October 22, 2016.

 

6.  Home Health Care Operations Report – Jenny presented reports, discussion followed.   Motion by Murray, second by Flint, to approve the September 2016 Home Care vouchers in the amount of $1,295.41.  Motion carried.  Third quarter Home Care adjustments were reviewed.  Motion by Higgins, second by Spencer to approve the third quarter Home Care adjustments.  Motion Carried

                                                                                                                                                                                                               7.  Business Office report and voucher review- Jenny presented the vouchers and highlighted items of interest.  Operations statement and aging were also discussed. Motion by Higgins, second by Spencer, to approve September 2016 vouchers in the amount of $94,545.60.   Motion carried.

 

8.  Third Quarter Adjustments – Jenny presented adjustments.  Discussion followed.  Motion by Murray, second by Higgins, to approve the third quarter adjustments.  Motion carried. 

 

9.  Third Quarter Donations -  Jenny presented the third quarter donations.  Discussion followed.  Motion by Higgins, second by Spencer, to accept the third quarter donations in the amount of $385.00.  Motion carried.

 

10.  2017 Budget Update -  Jenny updated the trustees on status of the 2017 budget.  Discussion followed.

 

11.  Assisted Living Discussion –  There was discussion of current trends and needs in regards to possibly adding an Assisted Living Facility to the Sauk County Health Care Center Campus.  Marty Krueger suggested doing a backward timeline from 2019.

 

12. Administrator’s report - Jenny reported that she had attended the regular administrative meetings.  She presented outcomes and efficiency measures.  She, also, spoke about the flu season and staff scheduling.

 

13.  Sauk County Health Care Center Strategic Planning Sessions Update – Jenny presented a summary of the meetings that were held and the recommendations that came from these meeting.  Discussion followed.

 

14. Public Comment - None

 

15.  Next meeting date and agenda items for next month - The next meeting will be Thursday November 10, 2016 at 5:15pm.

 

16.  Adjournment - Motion by Flint, second by Polivka, to adjourn.  Motion carried.
