Members present:  Henry Netzinger, Bill Higgins, Dennis Polivka, Chuck Spencer, Terri Langer, and Mary Ellen Murray

 

Absent: Mike Flint

 

Others present: Jennifer Vosen, Theresa Dietz, and Dennis Murray

 

1.  Meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. by Chair Netzinger and certified compliance with the open meeting law.

 

2.  Motion by Higgins, second by Spencer, to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

 

3.  Motion by Polivka, second by Spencer, to approve the minutes of the January 12, 2017 meeting.   Motion carried.

 

4.  Public Comment – None  

 

5.  Communication – None

 

6.   Home Health Care Operations Report – Jenny presented reports, discussion followed.   Motion by Langer, second by Higgins, to approve the remaining December 2016 Home Care vouchers in the amount of, $7.00.  Motion carried.  Motion by Spencer, second by Murray to approve January 2017 Home Care voucher in the amount of, $100.00.  Motion carried.

                                                                                                                                                                                                               7.  Business Office report and voucher review- Jenny presented the vouchers and highlighted items of interest.  Operations statement and aging were, also discussed. Motion by Langer, second by Polivka, to approve remaining December 2016 vouchers, in the amount of, $23,353.55.   Motion carried.  Motion by Higgins, second by Murray, to approve January 2017 vouchers in the amount of, $103,513.27.  Motion carried.

 

8.  Assisted Living Discussion – Jenny presented an updated presentation on why we should proceed with the Assisted Living project.  Discussion followed.

 

9. 2016 Budget Presentation – Jenny presented the annual report.  Discussion followed.  Motion by Murray, second by Langer, to approve annual budget as amended.  Motion Carried.

 

10. Administrator’s report - Jenny reported that she had attended the regular administrative meetings.  She presented outcomes and efficiency measures.  She has been working on the “Mega Rule” changes and she is still working on the closure of the Home Care Program.

 

11. Public Comment - None

 

12.  Next meeting date and agenda items for next month - The next meeting will be Thursday March 9, 2017 at 5:15pm.

 

13.  Adjournment - Motion by Spencer, second by Polivka, to adjourn.  Motion carried.
