REASON FOR MEETING: REGULAR
This meeting is open to the public. ORDER OF BUSINESS. The meeting was called to order by Bychinski at 5:01PM and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
AGENDA. Motion by S. Gibson, second by T. Spencer, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
JANUARY MINUTES. Motion by C. Gruber, second by T. Spencer, to adopt the January Meeting Minutes. Motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT. None.
COMMUNICATIONS. None.
PRESENTATION FROM M3 INSURANCE SOLUTIONS REGARDING THE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON WELLNESS PROGRAMMING VENDORS. J. Ireland presented the findings from M3’s RFI regarding wellness-programing vendors. Discussion was had regarding incentives for participation in the wellness programing offered by our health insurance vendor, Quartz. M3 and K. Hodges will work to develop a plan and program to announce the program to all employees with 2021 open enrollment, with a launch of an incentive plan in 2023.
RESOLUTION APPROVING LICENSES, IMPLEMENTATION, AND ONGOING SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE FOR TYLER TECHNOLOGIES TIMEKEEPING AND RELATED SOFTWARE. K. Hodges and K. Beghin presented information regarding the current timekeeping system and the lack thereof. Discussion ensued. Motion by S. Detter, second by S. Gibson to approve the resolution. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING/APPROVING THE REAUTHORIZATION OF WORKERS COMPENSATION SELF INSURANCE FOR MARCH 2021 TO MARCH 2024. Motion by C. Gruber, second by T. Spencer to approve the resolution. Motion carried.
2020 ANNUAL REPORT. K. Hodges presented information from the 2020 annual report, with a highlight on changes in leadership, FMLA administration, recruitment changes, and EAP use. Motion by S. Gibson, second by C. Gruber to approve the 2020 annual report. Motion carried.
DEPARTMENTAL UPDATE.
K. Hodges presented the monthly workers compensation, insurance claims, and deductibles report; highlighting the deductibles and OSHA 300 log.
Motion by C. Gruber, second by S. Gibson to approve the deductibles. Motion carried.
K. Hodges presented the monthly activities report including meetings, benefits, recruitments, attrition, EAP utilization, metrics, and other training information. Highlighting on internal recruitments and the opening of negotiations with WPPA. Motion by S. Gibson, second by C. Gruber, to approve the monthly reports, deductibles, and invoices as presented. Motion carried.
Motion by S. Gibson, second by S. Detter to adjourn until March 1, 2021 at 5:00PM. Motion carried.
