PROPERTY AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

July 1, 2021

Approved Minutes

 

Members Present:               Carl Gruber, Shane Gibson, Kevin Schell, Joel Chrisler                                                                              

Others Present:                     Ian Crammond, Lisa Vodak, William Commings, Phil Raab

1.     Meeting called to order by Gruber at 5:00 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met (WIS. STAT. 19.84)

2.     Adopt Agenda:  Motion by Gibson, 2nd by Schell to adopt Agenda. Motion Carried

3.     Adopt draft minutes of June 3rd meeting: Motion by Schell to adopt the draft minutes, 2nd by Chrisler. Motion Carried.

4.    Public Comment- none

5.     Communications- none

       

6.   Business Items:

     a.      Treasurer’s Report – Monthly Sale Report- Elizabeth provided the committee with her sales report.

        

7.  Buildings, Communications/Towers & Landfill Updates – Ian Crammond

           a. Monthly Report- William reviewed the monthly report with the committee.

     b. Communications Report- Phil discussed the communications report with the committee.

           c. Discussion and possible approval of a resolution to contract for the upgrade of the Lightening Protection system at the West Square Administration Building. Motion by Schell to approve the Resolution to Contract with Pro Lightning Protection, 2nd by Chrisler. Motion Carried

           d. Discussion and possible action on the use of the showers in the Courthouse basement restrooms by the public Motion by Schell to lock the door and give a key to various departments to use the shower for participants in their programs and under their direct supervision, 2nd by Chrisler. Motion Carried

           e. Building Services Capital Project updates- Ian discussed the Capital Project updates

     f. Review and Approval of Vouchers Motion by Gibson to approve the vouchers in the amount of $ 151,565.85 2nd by Schell. Motion Carried.

    

 8.   Next Meeting date: August 5, 2021 at 5:00 pm

Motion Carried

Motion by Schell to end close session at 5:40pm, 2nd by Gibson. Motion Carried.

 

10. Adjourn:  Motion by Schell to adjourn, 2nd by Gibson.  Motion Carried
