Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM @ Chair Ashford.
Certification of Open Meeting Notice
Requirements of the Open Meeting Law were met.
Approval of Agenda
Motion made by Dietz, second by Spencer to approve the agenda. Motion carried. All in favor.
Approval of Minutes of Last Meeting
Motion made by Stehling, second by Spencer to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of January 11, 2017. Motion carried. All in favor.

Communications: River Arts event
Review Budget and Approval of Vouchers:
UW Extension
Budget reviewed. Motion made by Stehling, second by Spencer to approve the final December 2016 UW Extension invoice in the amount of $264.72 and the January 2017 UW Extension invoices in the amount of $26,472.70 which includes the $25,000 Sauk County Ag Society Outside Agency Appropriation. Motion carried. All in favor.

Budget reviewed. No invoices for January 2017.

Discussion, possible action: Approval of 2017 UW-Extension agent salary contract:
The 2017 budgeted agent contract is significantly lower in part because we received a credit reconciliation from 2016 due to vacant positions. Motion made by Dietz, second by Stehling to approve the 2017 UW-Extension agent salary contract for the period January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017. Motion carried. All in favor.
Discussion, possible action: Annual report - 2016 UW-Extension
Motion made by Stehling, second by Dietz to approve the 2016 UW-Extension annual report. Motion carried. All in favor.
Discussion, possible action: Annual report - 2016 Arts & Culture
Motion was made by Stehling, second by Spencer to approve the 2016 Arts & Culture annual report. Motion carried. All in favor.
Discussion, possible action: Carry-forward amounts from 2016 to 2017 request from accounting.
Motion made by Dietz, second by Stehling to approve the UW-Extension total carry-forward amount of $10,022 ($7,197 for pesticide applicator training and $2,825 for professional development) and Arts & Culture total carry-forward amount of $4,239 from 2016 to 2017. Motion carried. All in favor.
Consideration of 2017 Good Idea Grant application(s):
Baraboo Schools: Committee felt application was a good idea, but expressed concerns over the resubmitted budget, specifically the cash-on-hand. Decision to table the Baraboo Schools Good Idea Grant application until Spencer is able to contact the applicant to clarify the budget and request budget revisions.
Sauk County Historical Society: Continuation to update and expand the history of Sauk County. Motion made by Stehling, second by Dietz to approve the SCHS good idea grant in the amount of $437.00. Motion carried. All in favor.
UW- Extension Agent Report(s):
Meg Sage, 4-H Youth Dev Agent: Sage reported on 4-H Super Saturday
Jenny Erickson, CNRED Agent: Erickson reported on a project she worked on with the International Crane Foundation – Fostering Collaboration between Natural Resources & Economic Development

The next Regular meeting will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017, held in Room 213 of the West Square Building @ 9:00 AM
